More about Prof. Monika Kusiak:

Professor at the Polar and Marine Research Department at Instytut Geofizyki PAN, with research focus on early Earth processes and the evolution of ancient rocks.

Research fellow in Japan, Australia, Sweden, Germany and, as Fulbright Senior Award scholar, at NASA’s Johnson Space Center working on Martian meteorites.

 Experienced expedition member and leader with 13 polar expeditions to Antarctica, Greenland, Labrador, and Svalbard. First and only Polish woman to reach the  Dobrowolski Polar Station in Bunger Hills/East Antarctica, listed among “100 Women in Polar Science“.
