What’s the work that you do?

I am a PhD candidate looking at how size and composition of different aerosols help them activate to Cloud condensation nuclei, which can indirectly affect the radiative budget. I have been to Barrow Observatory in Alaska every year during the Stuard campaign (2022-2027) for instrument calibration and maintainance. In future I also plan to look at how sulfate and seaspray aerosols respond to warming oceans.

What keeps you going?

I love the field part where I deal with instruments and see how samples are actually being collected. I love working with all the data from the field and figuring out what makes sense and what doesn’t.

What’s your message to the world?

Climate change is real and please be more cautious about your footprint and wastage.
